This webinar will discuss techniques that remove the need for laborious sample preparation with solvents and introduce thermal desorption (TD) as a viable alternative for sample preparation. TD provides automation for direct desorption of cannabis flowers, with up to a 100 sample capacity, with simple sample preparation. Overlap mode allows the samples to be prepared by the TD while the prior sample is being analyzed by the GC, reducing run to run time and increasing throughput. As well as analyzing the flowers other samples can be taken too, vape cartridge analysis will also be discussed, from testing of the vape oils to taking samples from the vape pens themselves in a simulated puff experiment.
Overall the webinar will discuss the advantages that thermal desorption can give for analysis of a wide variety of cannabis sample types.
