Frontier Cryogenic Mill

The Frontier Cryogenic Mill is a sample treatment device for crushing, stirring, and dispersing polymer materials prior to analysis.

The Frontier Cryogenic Mill makes the sample grinding process into a simple pre-treatment operation. By using a special high elastic belt with excellent durability, efficient crushing is achieved in a short time by high-speed 3D figure-8 motion. This is the ideal sample treatment device for instrumental analysis, especially where crushing, stirring, and dispersing polymer materials is required.

In sample pretreatment, grinding samples into fine powders is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. The newly developed Frontier IQ MILL-2070 cryogenic mill is a device that makes grinding a simple process. Especially in microanalysis, pulverizing samples is a required pretreatment for sample uniformity, homogeneity, and reproducibility. Various methods have been devised, but they have problems such as a large amount of liquid nitrogen consumption, grinding time of more than ten minutes and a noise level of 90 dB during that time. The Frontier IQ MILL-2070 is a bench-top grinding, agitating, and dispersing device that uses a special high elastic belt to achieve a high-speed three-dimensional figure-eight motion to solve these problems.

    • Grinding at room temperature for most materials.
